Raymond W. Carmichael
CEO

Raymond W. Carmichael, APR, is the founder of Strategics, Inc. Prior to Strategics, he was managing partner of Trimedia Chicago, Inc., a leading financial public relations and marketing firm.

Prior to starting Trimedia Chicago, Carmichael was vice president of public relations for the Chicago Board of Trade for nine years and was responsible for the exchange's domestic and international media relations, public affairs, publications and corporate advertising.

Previously, Carmichael had been director of public relations for the American Red Cross chapters in Chicago and Cincinnati, Ohio. He also served as public relations and fund-raising director for many major national disasters for the American Red Cross and taught crisis communications for that national organization.

Carmichael, an accredited member of the Public Relations Society of America, served as president of the Chicago chapter in 1987/88. He also served on its board of directors from 1981-1989.

Carmichael holds a bachelor's degree in communications and political science from Wittenberg University in Springfield, Ohio and a master's degree in business administration from Loyola University in Chicago.

Andrew J. Mauck
Executive Vice President

Andrew Mauck is responsible for the development and implementation of Strategics' broad-based media relations programs and new business initiatives. Mauck manages client media education programs, corporate media strategies and expert source development. His expertise in writing, editing and related print production services is used extensively for Strategics' client projects.

Previously Mauck's work included conducting media relations in the publishing industry. Specifically he worked directly on a national campaign for a theological break-through book, Paul on Trial. Mauck was instrumental in introducing this book to the trade, business and consumer markets. In addition, Mauck also has experience in corporate strategic planning, research and competitive analysis.

Mauck holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in English Writing and a minor in Psychology from Knox College in Galesburg, Illinois. Mauck is on the Board of the Justin Wynn Memorial Fund and involved with La Rabida Children's Hospital.

Joshua F. Inglis
Senior Vice President

Josh Inglis is responsible for the development, execution and supervision of media relations and marketing communications programs. In this position, Inglis also is responsible for business development initiatives and strategic communications consulting for clients in all industries.

Prior to Strategics, he served as vice president for a Chicago-based public relations agency, with particular concentration in the securities and technology industries, including online brokerage, investor education, money management, exchange-traded funds and data management.

Previously, Inglis served as vice president of marketing for a rapid application development firm, and as public relations manager for Commerx, a pioneer in business-to-business marketplaces. He also was a vice president and director in the marketing communications and public relations unit of BSMG/FRB (now Weber Shandwick).

Inglis also worked at Strategics as vice president from 1994 to 1997.

Before becoming a public relations professional, Inglis was an arbitrage clerk for a proprietary trading firm in the futures, futures options and equity options markets.

Inglis was named a Top Tech Communicator in 2007 by PRSourceCode, and is a recipient of the Gold Bulldog Award for media relations and publicity excellence for work on behalf of online broker optionsXpress.

He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from Ohio University in Athens, Ohio.

Sara K. Aldworth
Vice President of Marketing Services

Sara Aldworth directs the creative and strategic planning aspect of Strategics' client marketing communication projects.  Her diverse responsibilities include media planning and implementation; advertising creative development and research services; conference and event coordination; and the development and production of promotional materials.

Prior to joining Strategics, Inc., Aldworth was the Director of Member Services for the Henry Hazlitt Foundation, a non-profit organization whose primary project, Free-Market.Net, maintains an Internet site designed to communicate ideas and coordinate resources for individuals researching political philosophy. Aldworth provided membership assistance to website users, with a primary focus on technical support issues.

Previously, Aldworth was the first Director of Operations for the Illinois chapter of one of the largest political parties in the United States. She worked with officials and volunteers on candidate recruitment, petition drives, fundraising, event coordination - including the annual statewide convention - and the production of informational materials.

Aldworth holds a bachelor's degree in English literature, with an emphasis on creative writing, from Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL.

Lindsay B. Mulligan
Manager, Client Services and Administration

Lindsay Mulligan is responsible for special client project development and administration in the areas of marketing and media relations. Her responsibilities include logistical support for events and conferences, vendor relations and ongoing client communication. Special projects include research, media relations, preliminary site searches, contact list development and a variety of related activities.

Prior to joining Strategics, Inc., Mulligan provided customer support for Freedrive.com. Mulligan assisted customers with technical support, inquiries, prevented fraudulent credit card use and developed guides for internal training purposes.

Mulligan has volunteered her expertise in support of Walkin’ By Faith ministries, a non-profit organization featuring a Chicago-based Christian festival. Her voluntary efforts included fundraising events and the development of promotional materials for this organization.

Mulligan holds a bachelor of arts degree with a major in English and a minor in Psychology from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois.

David B. Carlson
Media Relations Specialist

David Carlson is the Media Relations Specialist for Strategics. In this role, Carlson's main focus is initiating and continuously developing mutually productive relationships between Strategics’ clients and leading journalists. Carlson also advises clients on the use of search engine optimization (SEO) and social networks as part of their overall public relations strategy.

Prior to joining Strategics, Carlson worked at Ravid & Bernstein, LLP a certified public accounting firm servicing corporations, high net worth individuals and non-profits. His main responsibility there was ensuring the accuracy and quality of prepared financial documents and company reports as well as the management and implementation of the firm's first website.

Carlson holds a Bachelor’s degree in political science with a concentration in policy analysis from Arizona State University in Tempe. He is also involved with the Big Brothers Big Sisters of Metropolitan Chicago’s club-based mentoring program.
