In 2001, NQLX was a newly established futures exchange originally owned by NASDAQ and Euronext.liffe, organized primarily to trade single stock futures. Strategics was charged with bringing the new electronic exchange into the marketplace through a comprehensive marketing and communications outreach program. In establishing NQLX as a recognized industry brand, Strategics took on the role of creative director, developing and producing the corporate identity, related marketing materials and website development. Strategics conducted an intensive yearlong media relations and marketing campaign which included national media tours, writing and dissemination of press materials, conference marketing and exhibit design.

The opening of NQLX was organized at NASDAQ’s Marketsite at New York City’s Times Square, with simultaneous activities in Chicago, in order to take advantage of the strong NASDAQ name recognition and media accessibility. International media responded through the launch date with interviews, photo shoots and editorial placements. The opening of this new exchange gained media and market attention beyond that of any other newly established futures exchange in twenty years.
